Brendan Ahern joined KraneShares in June 2012 to head the firm’s efforts in becoming the leading provider of China-focused exchange traded funds (ETFs) and Chinese investment education for US clients. Since early 2001, Brendan worked for one of the largest global ETF providers where he was an original member of the business development team. His “from the ground up” experience at a global ETF provider allowed him to become intimately acquainted with all aspects of the business. His expertise spans product development, marketing, branding, business strategy, operations, portfolio management, trading, and client execution.

Xiaolin is the Head of International at KraneShares and manages the firm’s business outside of the United States. She oversees efforts to solidify KraneShares’ thought leadership throughout the industry. Before joining the firm, Xiaolin was responsible for managing $70 billion in client portfolios at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Xiaolin has extensive experience developing strategic asset allocation for clients globally investing across traditional and liquid alternative investments. Having lived and worked in Asia, Europe, and the U.S., Xiaolin brings an unparalleled market insight to her client engagements worldwide.

Ambassador (Ret.) David Adelman is a Managing Director and the General Counsel of KraneShares. He previously was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong and partner in two global law firms practicing law in New York, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta. David was the 15th United States Ambassador to Singapore serving during the first term of the Obama-Biden Administration.
