China Q3 Update: Earnings-Driven Re-Rating? & IPO Pipeline
Tuesday, 13 October, 2026
15:00 - 16:00 BST, 16:00 - 17:00 CEST

China's stock market has experienced a deep divergence so far this year, as Mainland China-listed hardware technology stocks have delivered solid performance, while internet and consumer-oriented platforms, despite their relevance to the AI story, have sold off significantly. Meanwhile, Mainland China's stock market is seeing a parade of technology IPOs. After Chang Xin Memory (CXMT), the world’s fourth-largest memory chip maker, listed in July, its competitor, Yangtze Memory (YMTC), is expected to follow suit with a potential blockbuster IPO of its own. In August, robotics juggernaut Unitree also made its debut. Still to come are listings from DeepSeek, Moonshot, and many others.

Renewed investor confidence and a strong IPO pipeline could continue to benefit the onshore-listed hardware companies, allowing them to build on their momentum. However, at the same time, we believe internet-based hyper-scalers like Alibaba could see a significant rebound in profitability as the current capital expenditure cycle peaks, which could drive a re-rating.

Join KraneShares CIO Brendan Ahern and Head of International Dr. Xiaolin Chen as they discuss their outlook for China's stock market.

In this webinar, we will discuss:

  • Upcoming IPOs & potential market impact
  • What’s driving the expected sharp earnings turnaround for some of China’s largest internet companies
  • How to access local technology IPOs through the KraneShares ICBCUBS China Technology & Semiconductor STAR Market 50 Index UCITS ETF (Ticker: KSTR)
